Interest, inflation and savings tax
Cash is safe from market falls but can lose value to inflation. Interest outside an ISA may be taxable.
If interest is below inflation, your money buys less each year.
ISA interest is tax-free. Outside an ISA, your Personal Savings Allowance covers some interest depending on your tax band.
Comparing savings rates
FLYNQD can't compare live savings rates yet because no rate data source is connected. Planning → Compare savings rates links to independent comparison sites and the FSCS protection checker instead. We aren't paid for those links, and we don't show rates we can't check.
Opening that page never changes your saved accounts. If you open a new account, record it under Savings.
